You may choose to apply for admission first and submit a scholarship application at a later date, as long as it is prior to the scholarship application deadline for the institution for which you are applying. Scholarship applications may be activated on the My Account-Application Listing page after logging into your ApplyTexas account. The scholarship application is listed below the admissions application listing and may be accessed by clicking on "Apply" or "Edit" (as applicable) under the Action heading.

If you activate your scholarship application before you submit your admission application, you must save all required scholarship information before submitting your admission application. If you have started a scholarship application and decide not to complete it before you submit an admission application, you may cancel the scholarship application at any time prior to its submission and go back and complete it later, as long as it is prior to the scholarship application deadline.

Please be aware that once you have submitted an application, you cannot make changes to it. You will, however, still be able to access and view the submitted admissions application and the scholarship section via the "View" links on the My Applications tab.

You can always save an application without submitting it right away, but be sure to submit your admissions application with the scholarship section before the scheduled deadlines.
